It has painfully come to our attention that contrary to the popular saying that "50 is the new 40", this is not the case when it comes to employment or being the target of marketers. We do not represent the demographic they want to reach (unless it is bladder control issues, erectile dysfunction and/or high cholesterol medications or burial insurance).

The objective of our website/blog is to provide a forum for those of us over 50 to discuss and share life experiences and to give voice to the many concerns shared by baby boomers. We encourage the exchange of helpful information and ideas that can help each other navigate a variety of concerns. These can be any life changing event; from coping with employment issues, interacting with adult children or a myriad of other issues. A place for us to vent our frustrations, share solutions and provide mutual support for each other. Hopefully, in sharing experiences, we can help someone successfully navigate their experience.

While we encourage you to share your experiences, we ask that you do so with a certain restraint. We want people to get something positive out of participating in the discussion. So we ask that you try to keep your postings constructive and helpful. We understand that all experiences are not positive, but we can choose the temperament of our posts.
